Mike Smailes Historic Outing

This coming May Bank Holiday (May30th 2011) York Motor Club host the Keith Patterson Memorial Sprint at Teesside Autodrome.

This will be the first 'Speed' outing for Mikes New competition car the Gilbern Genie after the unfortunate damage by fire to his previously run BMW 2002.

The Gilbern sports a 3 litre Ford V6 engine and has recently been fitted with an LSD, roll cage, competition seats and anti roll bar. Mike recently finished 3rd in class and 20th overall in the Ilkley run Jubilee Rally.
